Exercise 1: Let's play a game!

The game we played (well, sort of a game) was to pass a paper each in the group and each paper will have a question. All four people in the group are to rotate it among members and write 3 ideas in it.

Mine question was: How to make the guitar chord section easier for the reader?

Mine ideas are the top three. I didn't know that I was suppose to write it last. My group member was not complete (there's only Jessica) so I am told to join with another two members from different group, Nigel and Arwa. So the arrangement of the ideas written is Me, Nigel, Arwa then Jessica. I wrote the first one before passing around while the other two after that.

My first idea is to put a visual guitar and name the strings or put the chords of the key together with the fingering. This is to make it easier if the reader is a beginner in playing guitar but have the interest to learn to play. For example, if the first chord is Dm, reader can click on the guitar / at the side and click Dm. On the end of each string, it will have the key E,B,G and etc.

Second idea, a short game with the featured song and the reader can play the song according to the right chord, something like song based game such as " guitar hero"or "O2Jam". This is inspired by Arwa's second idea and Nigel's idea 3. This way, reader can be release of boredom / sleepiness of reading to much text in the earlier pages. Not only that, reader have fun while learning how to play.

Lastly, a video tutorial for the guitar playing and also including vocal. This include explanation and step by steps instruction. Maybe can do it in separate timing so that reader can learn it by steps. This also helps reader to learn especially if they wanted to try it on the real instrument. Inspiration from Arwa and Jessica.
